     I believe that an education is valuable in the development of each individual student. The knowledge that each student learns in school, along with other skills, such as communication and critical thinking, will benefit them in their future endeavors. After school is over, students are going to be expected to be educated and well informed to be successful in the workforce. I believe that it is our job as teachers to ensure that these students are ready for life after high school and that they become functioning members in society.

       I believe that becoming an educator is equivalent to becoming a parent. Once the decision is made it is no longer solely about you, but instead you have many young peoples’ futures in your hands. It is my responsibility as an educator to push each and every student to perform to the best of their ability and assist them in overcoming obstacles they will face along the way. It is my job to work with the parents and community to ensure that all of my students will be the best they can be. I will try my hardest to remain on good terms with the parents of my students so that we can work together and the student can benefit as much as they possibly can from being in my class.
